West Georgia VoicesDear Readers, The Campus Chronicle is your space. This is where we tell your colleagues who you are and what you do. We celebrate your accomplishments and explore what drives you. An important part of the Chronicle is West Georgia Voices. This is where we invite you to submit a few words about another aspect of your life, research or work. If you have not already read them, please take a look at two recent pieces written by Steven Broome, photographer and assistant director of UCM, http://www.westga.edu/~chronicl/archive/46-02/wg_voices.html, and family nurse practitioner, Greg Heath, http://www.westga.edu/~chronicl/archive/46-03/wg_voices.html. The two were part of a mission trip to Nicaragua. When they came back, they wrote about their experiences. But you don’t have to travel far to contribute. If you volunteer or if someone has touched your life, please consider writing about it. Although there will be some editing – for length, civility and clarity – I’m looking for your writing to be in your voice. The Chronicle is taking the summer off and will return in the fall. While you are out and about, please think about how you can make West Georgia Voices your column. Please feel free to email me at yolanda@westga.edu. Thank you,
