Music for the UWG Opera Workshop production of "Carmen." This is only the second time that Dr. Larry Frazier as produced the opera for UWG. Artist Steve Penley created the images that will serve as backdrops for the show.
A “Carmen” Collaboration
Work by noted artist Steve Penley will grace the stage of the UWG Opera’s production of “Carmen” in March.
This is a first-time collaboration between Penley and Dr. Larry Frazier, the director of the opera workshop, who approached the artist. Penley was eager to do the work and produced four paintings, one for each act of Georges Bizet’s 19th century piece. MORE
