Crisis Center
Services
Carroll Rape Crisis
Center was created to provide free and confidential services to victims of
sexual assault and their families and friends. Listed below are some of
the services
provided by CRCC.
HOTLINE -- Call (770) 834-7273
anytime you have a question or need help. You can call the HOTLINE 24 hours a
day.
MEDICAL ACCOMPANIMENT -- We will be with you while you wait and during the exam. It is important to have an exam so you can be checked for possible injuries, pregnancy, and sexually transmitted diseases. Also, any evidence that might be present can be collected (in case you decide to press charges). A CRCC advocate can provide you with support and information during this process.
CRISIS COUNSELING -- An attack is very upsetting for you and for the people who care for you. We can help with counseling for you, your family and even your friends. It is normal to have ups and downs later on. Call us at any time. We are here for you!
CRIMINAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE -- We can help you with the police and the courts. We can provide an advocate to answer your questions and accompany you to court or to the police station.
COMFORT KITS -- We provide comfort kits to rape survivors.
This kit contains a change of clothing and personal hygiene items.
COMMUNITY RESOURCE
INFORMATION/ REFERRALS -- We can provide information and referral for
other community agencies.
YOUTH/YOUNG ADULT PREVENTION PROGRAMS
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES -- We have several types
of volunteer services if you have a desire to help. Please click here if you
are interested.
COMMUNITY EDUCATION -- The CRCC provides free
educational prevention programs to local schools and organizations.
We offer one-hour, multiple-day, and continual basis programming. Our
purpose is to provide a comprehensive prevention program to reduce the
occurrence of sexual assault in our community. Please spread the word about
CRCC's educational programming to anyone that you feel may wish to utilize this
service. Thank you for your time and consideration. Please contact
the Prevention Educator at (770) 834-8905 if you have any questions or would
like to schedule an educational program for your youth.
