I n   P r o g r e s s  . . .
My research activities focus on effective teaching and learning at a distance and technology-enhanced instruction. I'm interested in identifying strategies that enhance interactivy online as well as designing technology-enhanced courses for higher education context. Research questions I pursue include the following  --
  • How can technology effectively support the teaching (and learning) in undergraduate and/or graduate education?
  • What is the best model in supporting effective adoption and integration of technology in the curriculum by faculty members and teachers?
  • What factors facilitate the development of higher order thinking skills in technology-rich classrooms?
Recently, my research interest also delves into children's literature (especially those with multicultural and international roots). I'm trying to find ways of blending my background in instructional design plus instructional technology, and a passion for children's literature to teach K-12 and higher education students about effective writing, creative thinking, decision-making and problem-solving.
