·         It's nice to be able to take a break in the middle of a lecture if I need to. It was also nice to be able to come in and do my assignments in between various classes or work for other professors because Prof. **  provided a nice time frame in which we could do assignments and assessments based on our individual schedules. Also, she provided all of the handouts, power points, and any extra resources she thought we would need, aside from the textbook. Also in doing essay exams over a course of a week at home took away the stressful aspect of sitting in a silent room surrounded by other people with a time limit to finish something that determines 10-20% of your grade.

·         I could participate in discussion boards and post assignments at times that were convenient to me.  The most beneficial to me was that I did not have to travel 60min one way 2 nights a week to attend 2 classes this semester.  This is very important to me due to the cost of traveling and the convenience when I work full-time and have a family with small children.  This makes returning to school for an advanced degree much more doable.

·         Allow reasonable flexibility. Professor was extremely understanding about the anxiety students had in relation to the course assignment expectations.

I am employed full time and have a family with small children.  So, these aspects of an online course are very important to me and made pursuing an advanced degree easier for me.

·         If I must take a course online, I prefer hybrid courses. Except for the first and last class meetings, this course was online.  I have no problems navigating WebCT. I just prefer to class in a traditional classroom setting. I enjoy personal interaction with peers that is more personable than working online.

·         Discussion boards are helpful and convenient.  Dr*****  facilitated a nice check-in with every class.  It was good to be able to connect with classmates in that way even though we were not in person.  I liked having a real class together every other week and on the off weeks having assignments to complete and using the discussion boards to connect and share with fellow students.

We used Wimda and were able to talk to and see one another via video. This was a great class.

This instructor actually 'taught' the class instead of throwing us to the wolves! (not meant to be a pun!) Finally, I am glad to see you people @ UWG spend my money correctly by employing this instructor.

The assignments were graded in a reasonable time frame. The instructor took the time to write a comment next the grade. (Which ALL instructors should do, but do not.) This is always helpful for the student to learn what mistakes they made. I also liked the way the instructor not only gave critical comments beside the grades, but she also gave positive feedback. This encourages the student. This made me want to keep up the good work. I also liked the way that the assignments helped me to learn how to navigate the schools library website. That is going to be helpful in the future. Overall this coarse taught me many valuable resources related to research and how to use the library. The instructor did a wonderful job, and because of her I feel positive about online learning.

·         The learning opportunities are phenomenal, and the instructor is enthusiastic and highly accommodating.  From one who NORMALLY lives a fairly uneventful life, most everything possible happened all at once to me, from terrific to horrible : elected systemwide teacher of the year in my county, book being published, scholarship athlete son with torn lateral before nationals in Oregon, stepson arrested and facing two felonies, daughter having to fight custody battle for son and needed help to retain attorney, other daughter preparing for statewide voice competition for college scholarship and lost FIVE of her friends in a horrific car accident, brother's wife left and he 'moved in' with us,.....)....and I don't believe in excuses so I never explained any of these to him, but he still offered an opportunity to redo an assignment that I failed at a time in the semester when I needed an opportunity to redo it because I simply could not wrap my head around it and get myself focused. Love him.

·         This class was set up very well for on online medium of delivery. I enjoyed the video announcements from Dr. ****. It created a welcoming class environment.

·         Instructions and objectives were clear. Open learning environment where students could express themselves. It felt like we could express our thoughts and feelings openly without repercussion.I was not constantly guessing on what the professor wanted. Great communication by the professor, he was constantly giving feedback to the class if assignment objectives were missed and gave us an opportunity to correct. This class was not all theory. 75% of the class was application in a real world classroom. I enjoyed this class greatly. Professor had an open line of communication. He gave plenty of time to submit assignments which worked great.

·         This course provided the opportunity to learn things that I am already using in my current job.  The ability to build an online instructional module was an excellent learning experience.  I also like the way Dr**** facilitated discussion among the students of this course.  The convenience of taking a course of high standards and quality without having to drive a long distance was wonderful.

·         I enjoyed how the course eased us into the material.  We started off with some basic assignments to make sure that we understood how to use the online structure and then gradly began to increase the difficulty level of the assignments.  Though we are online, we are still able to interact with other students via the discussion boards and the proect that we are currently working on in groups.  Dr.*****  is easy to talk with and makes asking questions or sharing concerns easy, as it should be, between teacher and student.  I've also enjoyed the connection UWG has with Henry County Schools allowing us to evaluate their online program which will intern teach us more about how to establish one ourselves.

I had a varied amount of time for each quiz, test, discussions, and assignments, so I could finish them early and move on and actually had all work done a couple of weeks prior to finales week! This is what I think an online class is all about, helping me, a 27yr old mother of two with a job, to continue my education somewhat on my schedule.
