Question 15:What did you dislike about the online portion of this
course?
Nothing in particular. I guess in one of my online courses
I would have liked more interaction with the teacher.
Too much busy written work
Everything was fine
taught instruction.
Going to class. You are so used to doing your work and concentrating on
the subject that it becomes difficult to go back to a situation where you
have to deal with non
NA
nothing really except sometimes the computer froze
Nothing really...everything was good.
nothing
I disliked the fact that I always waited to the last minute to complete
my quizes and exams.
I do not like having the final count so much.
Some of the material is becoming outdated and some of the web links are
not functioning as the sites referenced have either moved or ceased to
exist. It does not breed a feeling of importance in the coursework
for these items to not work correctly. I know the number of students
is incredibly large but to have a bulletin board area that the professors
never look at seems to be a little silly. Some global issues mught
have been able to be raised and answered as well as it being a method to
feel connected to the class as a whole. In the first lesson
there was a discussion question but never any follow
nothing
There is no proof that i did my work and some of it did not get recieved
so i will be receiving a zero for it
the fact that ihad to pay $60+ for a paper back home made book!!!
Not having proper resources sometimes at hand and not always having
a teacher to turn to if I had a problem.
some time i forgot when the test and quizes are due
sometimes the program doesn't work and it tells you to do stuff later that
isn't there
Having to teach yourself.
The long modules.
The high percentage final for insgtance if you ace the final
and do nothing else you still have a "D". But If you have everything
due at every deadline you can barely make a "C".
N/A
It was harder to get help if I needed it. I also had trouble with the computers
at times which really bothered me.
The modules was a little time consuming.
1/2 hours to get to West Georgia from my house and I have a very
difficult time getting there. This saved me the travel time
but I still felt like I got a lot out of the course.
easy to procrastinate
Nothing
I have learned that I am a student that needs the attetion of the proffesor.
The dealines for me were difficult to remember. I will not take online
classes again they were not for me.
nothin
N/A
Not always a professor there to help.
Dr. xxxx' refusal to answer questions on the message board was horrid.
People would ask questions that everyone had and to which we all wanted
answers but she would only reply with her email address and the same
monotonous instructions to contact her or Mr. xxx personally. It
was the most irritating behavior I have ever experienced in an online course.
She turned something that could have been helpful into an aggravating daily
nuisance. Mr. xxx however was great!
That my final is worth 600 points!
there was nothing i disliked
It's hard not to procrastinate.
I only knew a few students in my class that was taking this course and
it helps sometimes to have class mates to help me in doing some of the
exercises and understanding them.

Internet clogging caused me to receive a bad grade..
i would rather go to a class every day and take notes. i am not very
good with computers and sometimes the computers would freeze during my
time on the computer making it frustrating to do my work.
The exams are to sensitive to the touch of the mouse.
The online and non class part.

recieve the help you needed.
nothing comes to mind
I didn't study as much as I went through each section
n\a
nothing really just that the final is worth for more than half your grade.
Nothing
Lack of contact with class and instructor.
you didnt know any one in the class
There is no way to get a reminder and sometimes it is easy to forget about
the class. Also it is very "picky" and the tests were a little retarded.
I have never taken an online class before this one so I am not sure what
to expect as for me everything was fine.
its crap
The problems that wee caused from computer malfunctions but there
were far and few and quickly fixed
It was too sensitive for example if you mistakenly pushed to wrong
botton it deducts too many points from the assignment.
The uncertainty of not knowing if the teacher received it.
Grading is too touchy. Points marked off for not hitting the "Save" button
on a test directly in the middle of the the "Save" button. Or not being
given instructions that I HAVE to hit "OK" but being marked off for hitting
enter on the keyboard instead.
Easy to procrastinate
Actually it was very easy and there wasn't much I did not like about
it.
I constantly forget my due dates
The time limit to complete tests and quizzes.
Sometimes when I need help it takes me alot of time to figure out how to
solve it.

lack of time with the instructor
I could never get a response from the instructor.
How the instructions were not helpful in completing the modules.
The Professor's attitude and work assignments not stated clearly in the
workbook he manufactured.
the book instructions the instructor and how long it took him to
respond and the attitude I got back for asking a question
if i get behind it is hard to catch up.
the insecure feeling that you may be doing something wrong or not doing
something that you should be doing.
Very often I felt invisible. The instructor hardly ever answered
my private emails and rarely appeared on the bulletin board. The
teacher's assistants did help on the board but not nearly as much
as I felt they should. I often felt like no one would answer my questions.
I work full time and cannot easily get to the lab for assistance.
Nothing
When I had a problem with an assignment I could not get in touch with the
professor.
At times it's hard to receive help. Plus there can be computer problems

and absolutely rude when asked for help.
All the work that was due every week.
the lack of professor help.
answers to questions were not given in a timely manner most of the time
The instructor took a while to respond to email and sometimes he
didn't at all. He seemed to have a bit of an attitude. The assistants in
the course participated more.
Lots of work
The proffesor wasn't helpful at all. Never returned my e
I feel like I didn't learn anything useful in that class
Instructors fail to answer questions.
Talking to Dr. xxxx.
The WebCT interface is so inefficent
The fact that we had to go in to a computer lab for the final. Before
I registered for the class it said it was 100% online but that
is a lie and my grade could suffer for it. I have learned the
material but not well enough to have to go in to take a closed book
final. That is the point of taking an online class to be able
to work online. Well going to a computer lab to take a final
doesnt sound online to me does it to you? If my grade suffers
because I cannot reference the book I will be very angry and
I do not think it is fair. If the class is not going to be 100% online
then it needs to specify that it will not be that way in the course catalog.
after the work was due if it was on time you got a zero. you were not able
to turn work and late and still get partial credit.
The professor specifically Dr. xxxx was very slow to respond
information overload in the amount of material covered. Should have
been revised to intesify learning productivity.
Sometimes impersonal and hard to contact the instructor

the class was still taught in a classroom...online portion did not give
the students a reason to come to class
confusing sometimes as to what i had to do and when
nothing to dislike about the course in general.....just hated if the internet
wasn't always up and running and i wanted to work on my assignments
N/A
the chance for some teacher interface
Having to remind myself constantly to check up and people who don't know
when they should use private mail and when to post things that everyone
reads.

You can't really just ask the teacher.
There wasnt any problems for me just was mostly on my own which was fine

to finish our Masters.
face feels more secure for me.
The constant tech problems and no personal contact.
I would often like my questions answered face to face. Spontaniety
was also a factor.
Couldn't get into chat rooms; trouble posting messages (or some that I
