Question 15:What did you dislike about the online portion of this class?

  • Volume of work and participation was too extreme.Lack of clear communication.
  • I did not have any dislikes.
  • We had to do a research paper so it was somewhat difficult to get the one-on-one help I wanted. Classmates were only so helpful.
  • While on-line discussions seem to promote students to give opinions. There seems to be a lot of off-track discussions
  • I did not like the online chats. Sometimes it's hard to keep up.
  • Online courses seem more time consuming. I would also like to see a spell check option on WebCT. Most work I typed first in Word and pasted to WebCT. For a few posting just a few sentences was all I needed - so I just typed them right in WebCT. But spell check would be nice
  • The volume of work made the first 4 wks too time consuming. The Professor was flexible and adjusted it accordingly.

  • There really wasn't too much to dislike about this particular course.At times it seemed that answers required in the workbook were difficult to find in the on-line lessons.Many students had the same problem but then again the instructors (mostly dealt with Rooks) were very fair and understanding.

  • I don't like not having the class discussions where we have to listen at the teacher talk & give us notes because I learn by listening & writing.AlsoI don't like the videosbecause some people feel the need to talk and it is hard to concentrate on the video and it is difficult to know how to take the notes and predict what will be on the test.

  • I Dislike the fact that it is called an online library class and you still have to go to the library to complete the work.I chose the class because I could not fit another class into my schedule but this class requires more time than my other classes.
  • This class is busy work. Every worksheet that I do takes at least 6 hours to complete if not more.
