the online portion of this course?

Flexibility!

I could do it at my own pace.

I liked that I could do my school work on
my own time and not have to find a babysitter for going to class.
I was able to work on class work late at night. I would not have
been able to take this class if it were any other way.

I like the fact that I do not have to go to
the Carrollton campus. I drive a long way to work and it would be
difficult for me to be in any class at 7pm during the week.

I liked the fact that I had the flexibility
to submit assignments on my own time. I was able to submit assignments
in advnace of the deadlines and received almost immediate feedback from
my professor. It was great.

for class. My professor did a great job making sure that we
learned as much as we would have learned had we been seated in class everynight!

HOME AT MY OWN PACE. PROVIDED ME WITH THE TIME I NEEDED TO SPEND

The flexibility of not having to commute to
campus for the course.

We weren't forced to come to campus everyday
which allowed me to get the most use out of my time. If I had come
to campus each day. I would have a total driving time of 2 hours
for a 3 hour course.

I would rather do that than drive an hour to West Ga.

was comfortable and enabled me to accomplish my assignments.

I am a single mother and this course allowed
me to respond on my on schedule. I was able to do things with my daughter
and work on class activities when she was asleep.

Online is great especially for us teachers
and coaches who have several other responsiblities in the summer.
It is great to turn in assignments talk to other students and the
professor at anytime. It really made this class less stressful.

We received feedback pretty quickly. I liked

my own pace. Mostly I enjoyed not having to drive 80 miles one way to campus.

a parking space. I can do my assignments in the middle of the night
or on the weekend and e-mail them to the professor. I can work ahead
if I have a need to do so.

It was so convenient to work during "my" freetime.
With two children and working going to campus is not ideal. I love
on line classes.

than a regular face to face one. Also I got the grades for

All course content and assignments were laid
out with explanations so there was never a question about what to do or
when to do it because it could always be accessed from any computer.

The convience. I can do my work whenever
I have time to do it. Having kids makes it very hard to commute.
Mr. Kooy was ALWAYS willing to help if you needed him or had any questions.

opposed to having to work with everyone else. I didn't have to sit through
boring lectures either. It also gave me the flexibility to be comfortable
while working instead of having to sit in a hard desk adn try not to fall
asleep.

it has taught me alot about researching and documentating research papers.

to do that with an online course. If I want to work on something
very late into the night I can also do this online. These things
are a little different in an actual classroom.

Since I am a full-time employee of a school
system and have two children ages 2 and 17 I need the flexibility
that on-line courses offer.

could turn in assignments online. I also was able to contact classmates
both privately and on the bulletin board.

was no physical class time available. I work full time and attend
school full time at night. The online classes are a great help to
me not only because of the flexible time schedule but also because
I dont have to drive the hour to school to attend a physical class.

It was a pleasant experience to do the background
work away from the classroom. We could connect to take a quiz or make a
bulletin board entry whenever we had a few minutes day or night. This meant
that time spent in with the whole class was maximized. The Prof knew what
each of us had done and how we had interacted to the free response items
on the bulletin board. We were all graduate students who were seeking to
maximize the information offered in this class.
