  • nothing
  • time between talking to the professor
  • I wish the system did not shut down on fridays. It seems whenever I was going to do work on a friday the system would be shut down. Other than that it was great. I do wish you could forward your e-mails from course den to another e-mail.
  • I enjoyed the course.
  • I wish she had put the material up the weekend before instead of the DAY OF the online class.  It was frustrating because there was more to do than you could get done in the hour and 15 minute class period.
  • There were tons of assignments to submit and things got a little confusing.
  • Dealing with CourseDen.  Halfway through the semester it got to be very difficult to email.  It would not bring up the list of people in the class and then sometimes you'd write your email and click send and then tell you it could not connect to CourseDen
  • Nothing... I loved everything. Everything was laid out accordingly.
  • Bad connection sometimes slowed up completion of assignments
  • Sometimes the assignments and expectations were not clear.
  • Nothing

  • Sometimes there was too many folders to look in. Which was kind of overwhelming.
  • There was way too many assignments required.
  • I did not like the fact that most assignments were to be submitted via e-mail.  Sometimes, I submitted assignments that were not received, and/or I submitted assignments early and they were lost.  I am assuming that these assignments were lost, or not see
  • Online needs to be more structured and streamlined.  The course would work great online but since this was the first one, there were many emails, postings, etc about the same subject, topic or assignment.  I felt like I had to check 5 different areas or d
  • The LACK of use of the Assignments Task box.  In past, my other three On Line CISM courses in past two semesters used ASSGNMNT task for Inbox, Submitted, Graded and Published.  This works with courses requiring multitude of assignments.

  • I disliked the fact of the amount of work and how a lot of times my teacher was unavailable.
  • There was nothing I didn't like.

  • Computer problems and posting assignments was a mess for me, maybe it was not for others but I tried to follow instructions good.

  • The biggest draw back to the course were the power point lectures.  They were often slow at loading which sometimes made an hour long lecture take over two hours to complete.  At that rate I would have much preferred actually attending class.  Also, print
  • not being able to have student teacher interaction (face to face)
  • The constant videos that were extremely hard to understand and did not load very easily at all. Writing papers about things with extremely high expectations without being taught anything from the teacher.

  • There really wasn't anything that i particularly disliked. I do not really have any complaints.
  • I have no complaints about the course.  I think the site is well set up and organized and everything is very accessible to the students.
  • Nothing.
  • I did not like the aplia at all. The questions were worded to be confusing. Also i did not like how the midterm and I suppose the final were worded. I found them also to be mislead when compared to the reading material.
  • the help line is oblivious and has no real clue how the online classes work or how to resolve problems. i once had a problem with taking a test and they essentially told me that they could not do anything.

  • The questions that pop in head that you didnt think of you cant just ask like in class

  • The content was challenging; it would have been beneficial to meet a few times.
  • I dislike the fact that our midterm and final were not online. It conflicted with my student teaching schedule.
  • When I originally signed up for this class it was not supposed to be an online course. The amount of reading was very intense, and some of the subject was difficult. May have been better if this class were in a classroom setting more than just twice in th
  • I did not like the assignments that were given in this course to do them all online was extremely difficult and stressful.
  • It was convienent but I did not learn as much on line as I would have in class.  This information is very crucial to our future career and interacting with the teacher was missing.  the have been in the classroom and can give us hints or clues as to what
  • It was hard for the instructor to really explain the assignments without being face-to-face with examples and such.
  • Course Den had a few glitches.  Occasionally, I would receive an error message when I tried to attach files to through Course Den.  Other than this issue, I enjoyed the online portion of this course.

  • I don't think group projects are that conducive for online courses. I felt that that portoin was much harder to do, and required a bit more stress than would of occured had the group work been done with an on campus course.
  • group work was hard b/c my group members are not tech savvy
  • Not knowing what my grade was
  • I was not a fan of this class because we did just about the same thing each week- read, post comment, respond to comment, post again.  After awhile it was just busywork!

  • Instructions weren't always plain.
  • Nothing specific comes to mind, I enjoyed the course.
  • Access portion of the course needs to be looked at...this is a difficult program and needs a little more attention.    this course is also extremely bias toward Microsoft vista. A majority of the students use apple computers with Microsoft suit installed.
  • not being able to work ahead
  • there was a signifcant lack of direction and instruction. there was no real way for the instructor to show or 'teach' how to do the lessons, we were just expected to figure out the assignments on our own

  • It was difficult to find the answers needed for some of the exercises
  • Just normal technology errors.
  • Nothing.
  • Having so much to complete the final week of class. I like to work ahead and the assignments weren't up fast enough.
  • That I can't do most of the assignments at the very beginning; I have to wait for the professor to post them. We should have access to all the content from the beginning, so that if we want to finish the course in a week, we may.
  • Again, not much online other than doing the actual program design and code.
  • Nothing.
  • not being able to ask about poorly explained questions on exams
  • It was a little late in the day for my preference. But I don't think that it was the teachers fault.

  • I found minimal complains.
  • This course was very efficient.
  • it can be hard to keep up with the class sometimes.
  • the tests are given too great a percentage (75%) of the course grade for 3 tests. The amount of work related to the other 25% of the class greatly outweighs the testing but is not given very much significance in the overall grade. This should be changed.
  • Not all critical questions were easy to answer.
  • the teacher. I felt she asked to much for the class and her test were ridiculous if you were not a major in mass comm.
  • The availabilty of having a teacher to ask questions.
  • That there wasn't really a continuous discussion. For example, if you responded to someone they didn't necessarily respond back and so whatever conversation that could have happened in a classroom setting did not.
  • Not feeling a part of campus life.
  • nothing at all
  • i liked everything about it. nothing to really complain about

  • If I was unsure of instructions on an assignment having to make time to go and recieve help rather than with on campus classes you can ask the professor right then
  • Time management was sometimes hard because I would forget that assignments were due.
  • nothing
  • Not enough interaction from the teacher.
  • The fact that we were supposed to log in everyday to be counted as present.
  • The online tutoring only allows for one student to get help at a time and the wait was long.
  • The part that I didn't like was a particular assignment that we had to 'speak' to a tutor. As for me personally, I understood how to do everything, so I didn't think is was fair that if we didn't 'speak' to a tutor on that assignment we were only given ha

  • needs clarification
  • points were taken away on little mistakes on the assignments
  • It was difficult to get questions answered.

  • That sometimes videos that I had to watch for the class wouldnt show, and then I would get a zero for that assignment.
  • Sometimes it is hard to find time just to sit down and do the work, but when you have a class meeting face to face you are suppose to go and it makes you go so you won't miss anything important.

  • I liked all portions of this course. This is the type of class designed for online access.

  • I feel that with this online class, I basically taught myself all the information.  The text was put into slide shows and that was the extent of presenting the information.  I don't feel that helped me learn.  Group work is a nightmare.  Group members don
  • Unlike, classes which meet face-to-face, whenever I had a question/concern, I had to email my professors and wait for a response.  My professors responded in a timely manner.  However, it can get annoying trying to have a conversation through email.
