        The schedule

        Quizzes were representative of information in our book, and they helped me retain information for tests. Also I like that we can contact our groups with the chat rooms and discussion boards, and we can view PowerPoint slides and get other assignments and announcements.

        Online classes offer much more flexibility than a traditional class. When you teach full-time, as I do, on-line learning is a lot more manageable than regular on campus classes.

        This was the most organized online course I have ever taken.There were PowerPointís, PowerPointís with sound (lectures), handout versions of the PowerPointís to print out, lecture outlines, a posting board for questions, and a way to give feedback about our assessments (very cool).††† I would take a class in this particular format any time.This was a subject (educational research) that had little interest for me as far as grinding over the details, yet the course was so well made, and its design was so great, that I survived.

        The professor made his Web CT site easy to navigate. I also got immediate feedback on tests and quizzes.

        The idea that I could do this on my schedule and not have to spend too much time driving back and forth to class.

        Everything.I like FTF classes, but enjoy the convenience of working anytime I want to, like now at 5:40 am!I believe online classes allow for more interaction, because time in class FTF is limited and online you may respond and read at your own pace.

        This class had a strong discussion component not really seen in previous classes, which was beneficial and an attractive feature since face-to-face time is limited.

She provides meaningful samples of work and provides an opportunity for students to share and critique projects.         The class was completely on-line.It was convenient for me to do the work required due to working and basic demands of my time.The evaluations, discussions, and quizzes were all time orientated so that helped me pace my time and keep track of my schedule. I was able to do the work at my pace and still submit the information on time to the instructor.

        I don't have to drive to Carrollton from Atlanta. I still get the same quality education on-line that I would get on campus.

        Reflecting on question 7 above, even though I truly missed the give and take of in-class discussion. Having the on-line discussion board for additional discussion is a good idea.

        The professor made the work applicable to our lives and our teaching experience.The work was not the "busy work" I have received from other instructors since I have been at this school.

        The instructor was very knowledge and first hand experience. Dealing with the emotions and background of experiences/knowledgeable instructors help you understand the subject much better.

        I liked it because I could sit in the comfort of my home and respond with any distractions or pressure. I could respond well because the reading was still fresh on my mind.

        I liked being able to do things in my own time. It was nice to be in charge if I wanted to work ahead or stay up or whatever.
