This program gets its name from Apollo, the mythological god who was strongest when at a distance. The goal of the Apollo Program is to facilitate a community of learners faculty who will work together to help their peers through both informal and formal means - to achieve educational excellence in distance education at UWG.

The program strives to achieve this in two ways: Monthly informal discussions with fun, free food and prizes in the Apollo Cafe a fancy name for Z-6. See the list of workshops for upcoming dates, times, and details. Click here for more info on the Apollo Program.
This is a centralized calendar on which any UWG staff or faculty can share faculty training or professional development opportunities. ITS, the Learning Resource Center, Distance & Distributed Ed Center, and the instructional technology support units within each of the three colleges, all collaborate to offer this resource. http://www.westga.edu/~training
