What is Impatica

Impatica for PowerPoint takes your presentation and formats it for Web delivery, while easily retaining animations and audio. The resulting files require no plug-in and run fast, even on slow modems. Impatica does require a java-enable browser; however, a javaenabled browser is required for WebCT anyway.

Impatica for PowerPoint creates the smallest of file sizes; allows you to easily add narration, incorporate the speaker notes, retain animation and still deliver without any plug-in needed other than the same Java required of WebCT anyway, work retained; but, students must print one slide at a time.

Impatica for PowerPoint
simply converts the PowerPoint file into a compressed format that is optimized for streaming over the Internet. The Impatica file is typically 95% smaller than the PowerPoint HTML files.

Impatica for PowerPoint supports most of the features of PowerPoint, including text, graphics, transitions, animation effects and, of course, narration.

This website's aim is to present the best way to add narration to the original PowerPoint presentation, how to use the Impatica program to “translate” your presentation, and how to upload the finished presentation into your WebCT course. It is assumed that you are already familiar with the PowerPoint program and know how to create a presentation with animations.
