Transferring Files

Now that you have dragged and dropped your files into the appropriate folder. Another dialog box will appear. This box allows you to set file permissions, so users can see certain files and you can disallow certain files. If you do not change the file permissions, users will be unable to view your webpages. 1. Click the "Set Permissions" Check box. Now check all of the boxes. 2. Once your don click Copy. Your files will the be transferred to the desired folder. |

Directory drop down: Sort for your files/folders on your computer2. Back 3. Foward 4. Go to Parent folder 5. Go to Root folder 6. Home: takes the user to there orignal folder 7. Refresh 8. Show/Hide directory tree 9. Directory drop down: Sort for your files/folders on the server |

 1. Click on the file then you can choose rename to change the file name. 2. Click on the file then you can choose edit to change the source code. 3.Click on the file then you can choose copy, this will then allow you to choose a location to place another similiar document. 4. Click on the file then you can choose move, this will then allow you to choose a location to place the document. 5. Creates new folder 6. Delete 7. Properties 8. Exit Winscp |
