Creating HTML Documents in Microsoft Word
When you finished preparing your Word document for web publishing and the document looks the way you want it, you must convert the Word document into an HTML file in order to publish it as a web page.
- In the toolbar at the top of the window, go to File > Save as Web Page. The Save As dialog box will open.
- In the File name area of the Save As dialog box, type in index.html - (MUST be named index.html in order for CourseDen to recognize).
- In the Save as type area of the Save As dialog box, be sure it says Web Page.
- Click Save. Microsoft Word will convert your file into HTML, allowing you to upload the file into CourseDen.
