Breaking a Link

Linked files are files that were created and uploaded to CourseDen by another professor that you are currently using in your home page. The reason they are linked is because the class you are using utilizes their file and cannot be changed unless this link is broken. To do this, this process requires very few steps and is easy and simple.

This tutorial will walk you through this simple process step by step:

• Go to Build - Basic View:
• Click file Manager:

• Once you go into your file manager you will see all of your files that have been transferred to your course:
  
• Select the checkboxes by the files that you want to be able to edit, and click Break Link.

Once you do this, the screen will refresh and you will be able to open and edit your files!
