American Religion since 1800
Course description:
History 4479 offers advanced undergraduates an opportunity to analyze trends and developments in the religious beliefs and practices of Americans from 1800 to the present. The course gives students an opportunity to practice their analytical and communication skills through class discussions, a research paper assignment, and extensive reading of primary and secondary sources. As a WAC course, this class places a strong emphasis on writing.
