Course description:
History 5485, a special topics course on American religion and politics, offers graduate students an opportunity to analyze trends and developments in church-state relations from colonial times to the present. Graduate students in this course will expand their knowledge of both the history and historiography of American church-state relations, and will develop their analytical skills by extensive reading in primary and secondary sources.
