Assistive Hearing Devices:
Ask a Coordinator about the Hearing Helper. The Hearing Helper is a transmitter that you and the professor wear during a lecture.
Interpreter:
If you need an interpreter please tell a Coordinator one month in advance of the semester that you will need the interpreter. You will need to provide complete information of the class location and time.
TTY Machine:
For the Deaf and Hearing Impaired, the campus TTY machine is located in Public Safety, Aycock Hall.
Closed Caption TV:
Closed Caption TVs are available in Classroom One of the Education Center and can be supplied to any classroom on campus by the Learning Resources Center. Be sure to inform your professor at the beginning of the semester that you will need this accommodation.
