All eCore students are also responsible for checking their myUWG student e-mail account. Important information regarding eCore, including your login information, will be sent to that e-mail address. Please read a generic copy of the letter here (note: the letter that you will receive from the system's office will contain your username and password information. If you do not receive this letter, please contact an eCore Advisor at UWG.

How and When Do I Log On to my eCore class?
Approximately 2 weeks prior to the beginning of each new term, registered students should receive a letter from the central eCore office. The letter will be sent via postal mail to the address on record at UWG and as an e-mail to the students UWG e-mail account at http://myuwg.westga.edu

The letter that you should receive from the eCore's central state office, will include very important info like how to buy books, how to get help, and howand when to logon.

If you do not receive this letter in your MyUWG email address, please contact the eCore Advisor at srowland@westga.edu or cherylc@westga.edu. You may read a generic copy of the letter here: http://www.georgiacenter.uga.edu/ecore/start/suwg_letter.phtml

Please note: Students cannot logon to their courses until the official first-day of class. Although you will be unable to access your course(s) until the first day of class, you will be able to access your MYWebCT page as well as the Student Guide to eCore, so go ahead and Log in to be certain that your username and password work.

If you added a course during late registration or drop/add, please note that it may take up to 48 hours after you ADD a course during drop/add, before you will receive an e-mail containing your username and password. By default, this letter is sent to your student myUWG e-mail account at http://myuwg.westga.edu.

Login instructions:

Step 1: Go to this web site address: https://ecore.view.usg.edu (do not type “www” and be sure to note the "s" on the end of http...).

Step 2: Click once on Log In. This will take you to the University System of Georgia Collaborative Programs/ eCore Log In screen.

Enter your username: (sent to you from the eCore office via mail or e-mail)

Enter your password : (sent to you from the eCore office via mail or e-mail)

IF you did NOT receive a letter or e-mail containing your username & password - please check your myUWG student mail -If you still need help with logging on - Contact the Online support center noted below...

Step 4: Click once on OK. This will take you to your MyWebCT Homepage. This page includes links to all the courses in which you are enrolled. It also includes other vital info that you should review.

Step 5: To access a specific course, click once on the Name of the course. Please disregard any eCore courses from previous semesters. It is our policy to keep these courses in WebCT for 3 semesters and they can not be removed.
