Welcome to UWG's eCore Advisement Center

eCore are online core courses that are provided through a state-wide collaborative program. eCore courses are taught entirely online, except for the occasional proctored exam. Courses satisfy the basic core curriculum requirements at any University System of Georgia institution.

 

 

Summer 2008
eCore Student Orientations

(Optional but Recommended)

If you'd like the opportunity to get oriented to your eCore course, come by the Education Center, Computer Lab, room 203 on one of the below dates/times (TBA) at the beginning of Summer Semester 2008. Be sure to bring your *login information.

Topics include:

  • How to Log in
  • How to Navigate within WebCT Vista
  • How to Purchase your eCore Textbooks
  • How to get Help

Dates and Times are To Be Announced

* Approximately 2 weeks prior to the beginning of each new term, registered students should receive a letter from the central eCore office. The letter will be sent via postal mail to the address on record at UWG and as an e-mail to the students UWG e-mail account at http://myuwg.westga.edu

The letter that you should receive from the eCore's central state office, will include very important info like how to buy books, how to get help, and how to logon.

Please Note: If you added a course during late registration or drop/add, please note that it may take up to 48 hours after you ADD a course during drop/add , before you will receive an e-mail containing your username and password. By default, this letter is sent to your student myUWG e-mail account at http://myuwg.westga.edu .
