Welcome to UWG's eCore Advisement Center

eCore are online core courses that are provided through a state-wide collaborative program. eCore courses are taught entirely online, except for the occasional proctored exam. Courses satisfy the basic core curriculum requirements at any University System of Georgia institution.

 

 

Spring Semester 2010
eCore Student Orientations

(Optional but Recommended)

If you'd like the opportunity to get oriented to your eCore course, come by the Education Center, Computer Lab, Room 203 on one of the below dates/times at the beginning of Spring Semester 2010. We will also offer 1 orientation session at the Newnan Center. Be sure to bring your *login information.

Topics include:

  • How to Log in
  • How to Navigate within GeorgiaView Vista
  • How to Purchase your eCore Textbooks
  • How to get Help
  • Login to a sample class

Orientation Dates:

Tue 1/12/10 2:30-4:00PM --> UWG Education Center Building, Computer Lab #203

Wed 1/13/10 10:30AM-12:00Noon --> UWG Education Center Building, Computer Lab #203

Thu 1/14/10 5:30-7:00PM --> UWG Newnan Center, Wolves Lab #1108


Approximately 2 weeks prior to the beginning of each new term, registered students should receive a letter from the central eCore office. The letter will be sent via the students MyUWG email address.

The letter that you should receive from the eCore's central state office, will include very important info like how to buy books, how to get help, and how and when to logon. This letter will also contain information about your username and password for your eCore class.

If you do not receive this letter, please contact the eCore Advisor at ecoreadvisor@westga.edu. You may also read a generic copy of the letter here: (Coming Soon)


Please Note: If you added a course during late registration or drop/add, please contact the eCore Advisor at ecoreadvisor@westga.edu or 678-839-5300, to obtain your user name and password.
