The eCore Orientations are offered each semester. Students have options to attend an online Wimba session, an Orientation sample class, and a face-to-face session.
Orientation Topics include:
- How to Log in
- How to Navigate within GeorgiaView Vista
- How to Purchase your eCore Textbooks
- How to get Help and Tutoring Options
- How to Schedule your Proctored Exams
- Login to a sample class
Face-to-Face Orientation sessions are available to UWG students
at the Carrollton Campus and the Newnan Center

All UWG students registered for eCore classes will have access to the eCore Sample Orientation Class
All UWG students registered for eCore classes will be invited to Wimba Live Orientations
Approximately 2 weeks prior to the beginning of each new term, registered students should receive a letter from the central eCore office. The letter will be sent via the students MyUWG email address. This letter will include very important info like how to buy books, how to get help, and how and when to login. This letter will also contain information about your username and password for your eCore class. If you do not receive this letter, please contact the eCore Advisor at ecoreadvisor@westga.edu.
