Goals of Learning Festival 2008

The overall goal of Learning Festival 2008 is to promote classroom teaching and to assist teachers in realizing their contribution to the quality of life in our schools and communities. By assembling many high quality teachers in one location, and at one time, we are confident that all participants will benefit from their experience. It is anticipated that 300-400 classroom teachers will gather to share experiences and celebrate the art and the science of teaching.

  • To celebrate and showcase excellence in teaching and learning
  • To recognize and reward excellent and professional teachers.
  • To model and demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning
  • To strengthen and deepen the content knowledge of teachers
