Dr. Andrés Xavier Echarri is from Peru where he received his B.A. in Hispanic Literature from the Catholic University of Peru, Lima, and then completed his Master and Ph.D. in Hispanic Cultural Studies at the Michigan State University, Lansing, in 2004. His research agenda focus on Latin American Cultural Studies, Hispanic Poetry and Cinema. Currently he is committed to the study on the constructions of childhood within Latin American narrative. Dr. Echarri has also interest in photography, creative writing and he is a published poet.
