Mark Andrew Hall received his B.A. in French Literature from Wake Forest University in 1995. After spending a year teaching English in Dijon, France, Dr. Hall undertook his graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (M.A. 1998, Ph.D. 2004). His research examines the role of metaphor in the development of visual poetics in early twentieth-century avant-garde poetry. Other research and teaching interests include 20th-century literature, French Modernism, literature and the visual arts, contemporary poetry, and Renaissance Studies. | . |
