Greg Dixon's Audio Lecture Archive
This
page contains an archive of audio lectures from courses taught by Dr. Dixon at
UWG. Dr. Dixon teaches most courses in
the hybrid model. Most courses follow
a model where lecture content is included online and class time is spent on
discussion in a seminar format. This is
a work in progress as not all courses have been taught in this format yet, and
the technology available to professors at UWG is still limited by budget
constraints. The semester in parentheses
indicates when the course was last taught.
Future courses are included on the list, but will not have recordings until the courses are taught.
It is important to note that these lectures are meant
to be listened to as part of a complete course that includes significant
additional readings. These lectures are NOT the equivalent of the
course itself and in many cases may make only partial sense without reading the
material for the course in question. It should
also be noted that these lectures and the course material are intended to
contribute to discussions in the classroom and thus may present only one side
of a complicated issue. Syllabi are
available upon request at gdixon@westga.edu.
