Interested in majoring in science or engineering? Science in
Space is an innovative interdisciplinary course that introduces
entering freshman to the science behind NASA. Students will
build a model of the space station, use satellite images to
track deforestation, and see how plants grow in zero-gravity.

To enroll in this Learning Community,
apply for the Science in Space Learning Community when you
register for
Orientation. During Orientation Registration you will make a
first, second, and third choice of
First-Year
Programs. Your choices will be transmitted electronically to
the program coordinator of your first-choice program. That
coordinator will evaluate your record and either accept you or
forward your form to your second-choice program, and so on. You
will be informed of your First-Year Program when you arrive for
Orientation and check in.
