Saturday Science
Saturday Science programs are scheduled at regular intervals during the school year and offer children a fun way to explore different areas of science in an informal setting. Lots of engaging, hands-on activities provide enrichment and reinforce material learned in the classroom. Topics are diverse and cover all disciplines of science; several programs also integrate other areas of the curriculum such as art or social studies with science and math.
Programs are scheduled from 9:00am until noon. They are held in room 119 of the Education Center on the campus of the University of West Georgia in Carrollton. Cost is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. if there is room. Students should bring a snack or about $2.00 in coins for the machines.
