After Graduation

 Even when a student has graduated from our program and has moved on to a new job or other opportunities, there are still ways in which we can serve you.  You may ask any of your professors if they will write a letter of recommendation for you (understanding than they may not always be able to do this) as well as for other forms of assistance in finding a job or becoming accepted in a Ph.D. program.  If you are trying to publish a paper you first wrote in our program, most professors will be pleased to help you rework it.  The History Department has created an alumni database to keep you posted on current events and job opportunities. And please send us an email or letter from time to time letting us know how and what you are doing as well as any suggestions you have for us.
