The Thesis Track

Students pursuing the thesis track will choose a major field and one minor field of study. They will write a research paper of about 75-120 pages involving original research. They will also take a comprehensive exam that will include an oral defense of the thesis and an oral examination over material in a student's major and minor fields.

Minor field courses	9 hours
Thesis units	6 hours
