Blue Bonnet Boys, 9th of March 2003
"Everybody's Tuned to the Radio": A Live Concert was held on Friday, March 7th and Sunday March 9th at the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center. It was an evening of country, gospel, and bluegrass music from the performers of the golden age of live radio in West Georgia. These concerts included musicians from local groups such as The Bluebonnet Boys, J.N. and Onie Baxter with Joe Will McGuire, The Willing Workers, Alton Stitcher, Charles Cole and His Southern Kinfolks, and Sewell Gospel Quartet. These groups all had been featured in the recently released CD entitled, "Everybody's Tuned to the Radio: Rural Music Traditions in West Georgia, 1947 - 1979" produced by Mick Buck as his graduate thesis project.
