ASSESSMENT PROCEDURES FOR GRADUATE ASSISTANTS

All Graduate Assistants employed by the Department of History are evaluated according to the procedures established by the Graduate School. For more information on those procedures, click here. Copies of these evaluations are available in the Graduate Coordinator’s Office and in the Graduate School office.

In addition to this, the Coordinator of Graduate Studies for the Department of History interviews supervisors of the individual graduate students to ascertain whether the graduate student is successfully completing his/her assignments or duties.  If there is a question or problem, the Coordinator also interviews the graduate student.  Summaries/logs of these more informal interviews are available in the Coordinator’s Office in the Department of History.
