Dr. Daniel Williams


(Ph.D., Brown University, 2005; Assistant Professor) Modern U.S.; American Politics; American Religion; Southern History.

Dr. Williams's research focuses on the intersection between politics and religion in modern America. His published articles examine the history of southern evangelicalism and the rise of the contemporary conservative movement. He is currently revising his dissertation, "From the Pews to the Polls: The Formation of the Southern Christian Right," for publication.
