U.S. Women's History

 

The History Department of the University of West Georgia invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor in U.S. women’s history, starting in fall 2015. Specialties in either the 19th or 20th centuries are encouraged, but the candidate will be expected to teach courses in U.S. women’s history both to and from 1865. Asian History

Public History

 

The Department of History at the University of West Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorshipin public history beginning August 1, 2015. Responsibilities include teaching U.S. History surveys and graduate and undergraduate public history courses, supervising internships, and working with community and public agencies through the University’s Center for Public History. Ph.D. in History or American Studies with public history experience required. Experience in digital history or new media desirable.
