Honors College
The Honors College includes the Advanced Academy of Georgia, the Select Student Program, HOPE-ACCEL Program for jointly enrolled high school juniors & seniors, Presidential Scholarships, International & National Scholarships, the Intercollegiate Debate Program, and all Honors College curriculum and activities. Our offices are located in the Honors House.
Extended Degree Programs
The Office of Extended Degree Programs is responsible for the administration of Distance & Distributed Education, Evening/Weekend University, and the Newnan Center in Newnan, GA. Extended Degree Programs also provides support for other off-campus graduate & undergraduate courses & programs. The office of Extended Degree Programs is located on the Carrollton campus in the Honors House and in the Newnan Center in Newnan, GA.

Annual Fall Banquet
The Honors College will have its annual Fall Banquet on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 6:30pm in the Campus Center Ballroom. Please contact Timothy Wright at twright3@my.westga.edu with any questions regarding this event.
2008 NCHC Conference
The Honors College will have 4 students presenting undergraduate research at the 2008 NCHC Conference in San Antonio, TX on October 23-25. In 8 of the past 11 years no other Honors College or Program has had more research submissions accepted than West Georgia. Also, we have had at least one student accepted to present at NCHC since 1994, which is the longest record in the history of this conference.
