Information & Application
New freshmen and transfer students who apply for admission to the University of West Georgia and are accepted are eligible to apply for the Honors College. (Please note the Honors College admission requirements below.) Students interested in applying for admission to the Honors College should fill out the appropriate application after they have been accepted to the University of West Georgia.
Requirements

A high school graduate who wishes to be considered for the Honors College should be able to meet two of the following five criteria:
  • 3.5 High school GPA
  • 1750 SAT Composite
      Or 26 ACT Composite
  • 650 SAT Critical Reading   Or 28 ACT English
  • 650 SAT Math
      Or 28 ACT Math
  • 600 SAT Writing

Students already enrolled at West Georgia or transfer students must have completed 15 credit hours with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
