Honors Residence Hall

Bowdon Hall houses the FYRST program and freshmen honors students. Honors students living within the FYRST community enjoy many benefits including:

• Living and learning on the same floor with other Honors students in Bowdon Hall, a freshmen only living environment.

• Meeting students interested in balancing their academic pursuits with their social lives.

• Easy access to classes and other academic buildings.

• Staying connected to all that the Honors College has to offer you including: Personal academic advising, support for undergraduate research, an Honors lecture series, and fall and spring Honors social events

• Taking advantage of all that the FYRST program has to offer including: Taking the College Student Inventory (CSI) and being assigned a CSI advisor, academic mentors on each floor, specially trained resident assistants, certified tutors, and an Emerging Leader Series.

If you wish to live in Bowdon Hall and take part in the Honors FYRST community, complete this form, complete your housing contract online (make sure to select FYRST), and write Honors FYRST on your contract signature page (which you mail in).

* At this time there is not a designated Honors Residence Hall for Upper Level Students.
