Michael Hester from the Honors College came to talk to the students about
the Honors college, and He mentioned a number of benefits of being an Honors student.
Students with a GPA 3.2 or higher can be part of the honor college. If you
register for honors classes you will have less students in your class, more
interaction with the professor and you will become a person instead of a number.
Honor students can register the 1st day of class, even before the seniors do.
Every Spring break there is travel organized by the honors college and full
paid for all of the honor students that wants to go. To graduate with honors
you will have to take at least 10 honors classes, and one of your senior papers
has to be changed into a research thesis. It is a very good complement for
your resume and very good seen by the graduate schools. If you are planning
