Technical Services
The mission of Technical Services is to provide comprehensive, high quality services to
meet information, instructional and technology needs for all users in a cost-effective,
timely and efficient manner.
The goals of Technical Services are:
- To provide expertise in selected operating systems, database and other software
applications
- To research, evaluate, assess and recommend information technologies in
order to produce guidelines and standards to lead the UWG community through the new
information era
- To perform technical support services integral to the information
infrastructure of State University of West Georgia through equipment repair, audio/video
technical support, and other information support services
- To perform project management
tasks associated with building the campus network infrastructure
