1.  Write down your Current Major:

2.  Find and list three jobs advertised over the Internet which match your MAJOR and sound interesting to you.   Where did you find these jobs (write the URL)?

3.  Look at the Online Career Resource Manual here at SUWG.

    A.  List Three  "Things You Can Do With"  YOUR MAJOR.

    B.  Look at the Occupational Outlook Handbook (BLS).
         i.  Select an occupation that starts with the FIRST letter of your LAST name.
            [e.g.,  Gustafson ("G") -  general managers]
         ii.  Write down the "Median Annual  Earnings" of the above occupation (B i)

4.  Take the Median Annual Earnings from (B ii) above and add to it the last 4 digits
     of your Social Security Number to get an estimate of a Salary that  might be earn
     in ATLANTA.  [e.g. Median  Earnings = $47,000  ; SS# 554-34-7012,  Then Salary = $54,012]

Calculate the salary needed to live in a City outside of Georgia that gives you an equivalent standard of living to the Atlanta Salary.   Use the "Salary Calculator".  Indicate the city and salary.
