         Newsgroups- An Overview

Assignment:

        HW#9  -    Use the Usenet Search directories to find two newsgroups you might be
                         interested in joining (subscribing to).  In an email message,
                         list the groups you have selected "to join",  briefly summarize some of the discussion
                         that is taking place within each group, and indicate approximately how many posts were
                         made to each newsgroup during September, 2001.

                         Email to jkey@westga.edu.  For the subject, indicate HW#9.

        At  Learn the Net , under Join Newsgroups, read the following: "All About Newsgroups", "Searching
        Newsgroups", "Subscribing and Reading Postings" and "Posting Messages."
