Add Page - click on "Make My Own . . "

Page Name -  you can give this page a name - you can have several different "Portal Pages" each with different names, content, colors , etc. -  check this page as your default portal or any one of the other portal pages you set up.

Content - check three or four  content modules (e. g.  Message Center, Weather,  etc.) after each module there is a "W" or "N" which indicates if the information will be presented in a "Wide" or "Narrow" column .  You can click on any content module to see what it contains.

Finished  -  click to save your selections

Options -  top right - click -  this next page will let you select:
                1.  Color Scheme     2.  Page Layout     3.  Page Content

click Colors: Color Scheme  - choose either a featured scheme or customize your own
                    Change Greeting  -  type in how page should greet you - e. g.  " Hi Laura "
                    Set Refresh Rate  -  how often you want page updated.
                    Finished  -  click to save your selections

To Change Number of Columns Personalize - top left - click on Layout  -

                  Number of Columns -  you  can select to have page layout in  two (2) or three (3) columns.
                  Change the location of the modules on the Page.
                  Using the Arrows you can move modules from one narrow column to the other narrow
                  column or rearrange the modules with in a column.  Modules in the "Wide" column
                  can only be rearranged within the wide column.
                  Finished  -  click to save your selections

Edit topics  -  to the right of each topic heading  -  click "edit "
                      Each content module has several content choices.  To select the information you want simply
                      highlight the topic - then click on "Add" - you can remove topics in the same manner.

To Remove Topics  -  to the far right of each topic is an "X"  click it-then click "yes" to remove

To Remove a Pageclick Add Page  (top right) click on Delete Page  - near bottom center - highlighted in blue
 

To Use Calendar -  To Receive an E-Mail Reminder for a future event.
     Click "Check Calendar" in Message box
     Type in your "password" and then click "submit"
     On the Calendar page click "Month" (top left)
     Then click "March"  -  then click on the calendar  "18"  (Monday - 18th  of  March)
     Then click on "8:00"  and then enter name of event  "Third  BUSA 1900 Test" and the date and time.
     Go down the page to Reminders -  click "Send a reminder"  then use menu to
     select "1 day" before and "5 days" before.
     Check "e-mail" -  then type in your yahoo e-mail address
     Then click "Save" (bottom center)

Go back to your calendar and check the date - go to 8:00 and you should see a "bell" at the end of the reminder. If you do not see the "bell" it means you have not correctly set up the e-mail reminder and you will not be sent an e-mail.  Fix it.
