Here is a list points to consider when writing and developing your web page.
Do's
- Write clearly and be brief
- Organize the presentation for quick scanning
- Make each page stand on its own
- Spell check and proofread everything
- Use alternative text for your images
- Group related information visually using horizontal lines
- Use a consistent layout in all pages
- Link back to your home page
- Sign your document - leave an email address for feedback
Don'ts
- Overuse bold, italics, all caps, ....
- Overuse images, use a blend of text with graphics (max - 100k of images
per page)
- Overuse animation's
- Use heading tags for emphasis
- Split a topic across several pages
- Repeatedly link to the same site on one page
