Absarokas, Wyoming, Summer 2003


During 2003 my wife, Stacy, suggested that this might be a good summer for me to take a trip on my own, if I wanted to.  I always have a backlog of trips in the planning stages just for such an opportunity.  So I jumped at the chance.  I rode out to Wyoming with my parents, who dropped me off north of Dubois in the Absarokas and picked me up 5 days later.  Photos from that trip are shown below.  Then I joined them for a trip to the Wind Rivers to climb Gannett Peak with my dad (see photos in climbing section).
