Candidates will examine issues relating to cultural pluralism and global perspectives and to the equitable education of culturally and linguistically diverse student populations. Topics will include the theoretical foundations of multicultural education and the importance of cross-cultural communication. Candidates will also examine, evaluate, and develop curricular materials for culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
