Meetings are held each week during the fall and spring semesters.
We meet on Tuesdays at 8 PM in the Campus Center room 104.
(This is the first-floor meeting room across from the climbing wall.)

Everyone is invited to attend!

Note: The meeting on April 29 will be a relaxed one, since we're nearing finals and the end of the semester. Come out that evening for food, fun, possibly a movie, and the announcement of the 2008-2009 Executive Board!

FRIDAY, April 25 is the National Day of Silence! We will have tables set up in the Quad from 10 AM to 3 PM. Whether you have taken the vow of silence or not, come out and support us. This event is always interesting. This year's Day of Silence is dedicated to Lawrence King and we are registered on this GLSEN's page.

This is individual volunteers, but the Relay for Life is going to be on the same day as Day of Silence and it is located at VFW, on Bankhead highway near the Carrollton movie theater, starting 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. There is going to be a $10 fee for participating, but all proceeds are going to cancer patients.

So far this semester, we have participated in...
"The Summit" at Kennesaw State University on Saturday, April 19.
Four educational panels.
Our first potluck GLBTBBQ.
A Valentine's Day dance.
Selling candy pops to promote the Vagina Monologues and V-Day New Orleans.
A day of silence presentation in the TLC.

In fall semester, we participated in...
AIDS Walk Atlanta on Sunday, October 21, at Piedmont Park.
National Coming Out Day in the Quad on October 9.
Homecoming on October 29 and Homecoming week events.
Two bake sales to raise money for AIDS research and Lambda.
Our own family potluck dinner.
The UWG House of Representatives.
And our end-of-semester partay!
