Charge

Membership

• The Library Systems Functional Committee shall consist of four members, one representative each from: Access Services, Systems, Acquisitions, and Cataloging.
• Representatives will be chosen during the spring of each year by whatever means the division or department deems appropriate.
• Membership is for two years
• The Chair will be selected in the spring of each year from continuing Committee members.
• Service begins July 1 of each year.
• To ensure continuity on the Committee, the terms of the representatives on the initial Committee will be staggered in the following fashion: Access Services and Acquisitions representatives - 1 year; Cataloging and Systems representatives - 2 years.
• Each retiring member will attend meetings for 3 months beyond their designated term.
• At the end of each year the Chair will prepare a written report of what has transpired during the previous year.

Our meetings are open to all interested library faculty and staff. Future meeting times are subject to change and will be updated here to reflect cancellations or postponements. Agendas will be added as they are created. Minutes will be added online as they are approved by the committee.
