- Job Description:

This position is responsible for maintaining the Stacks, Periodicals,
and Microform Collections in the Ingram Library. Daily
assignments consist of, but are not limited to, retrieving items from
stacks or storage, re-shelving, gathering, shifting, organizing,
shelf-reading and straightening materials. This job is detail-oriented
with some physical work required. No prior experience necessary and
minimal contact with the public. Full description of position will be
presented during interview.
Qualifications:-
All applicants must qualify for FWSP and have a minimum 2.8 GPA.
Must be punctual, reliable, able to bend, lift, reach and push book
carts. Applicants must also possess a good work ethic, positive attitude
and ability to work independently and accurately.
- Number of Hours per Week:
-
8 - 10 hours per week during regular Library hours and non-scheduled class
time. Applicants may also need to be available to work early morning, late
evening or weekend hours depending on the scheduling needs of the
department.
SPECIAL PROJECT

- Job Description:
Individuals are sometimes needed for major shifting and straightening projects. Position requires all applicants be able to lift,
reach, bend, move heavy books and adjust shelving units. Job is labor
intensive and somewhat detail-oriented. No prior experience necessary and
minimal contact with the public. Full description of position will be
presented during interview.
- Qualifications:
All applicants must qualify for FWSP and have a minimum 2.7 GPA.
Applicants should possess a good work ethic, positive attitude, ability to
work independently and accurately, and must be punctual and
reliable.
