Editor's Welcome

As Editor and founder of the Journal of Library Services for Distance Education, I would like to welcome you to our second issue. Although our intention was to publish another issue this past March, a number of events intervened which made that impossible. However, we hope to be able to stick to a more regular schedule in the future, with issues in March, July and November.

We hope you enjoy the articles we've collected for you, and urge you to consider becoming a JLSDE author yourself! Just click on "About JLSDE" if you'd like to know more about submitting a manuscript for consideration in a future issue. We also welcome suggestions for topics which you'd like to see covered in this publication, announcements of events of interest to library staff involved in supporting distance education, books to review, and URLs for our fledgling "Links" page.

I am also contemplating a reader feedback page, so let us hear from you if you would like to comment on any of our articles!
