Catalog - GIL
- Ingram Library's Online Catalog is where you go to search for material held within
Ingram Library. Generally, this material will be books, but we also have videos, records,
CD's, etc. You can also search for journal/periodical titles, BUT NOT FOR SPECIFIC
JOURNAL ARTICLES.
- Course Reserves
- Information regarding course reserves, includes instructions on how to access
electronic reserves, as well as information on other materials, such as books and
multi-media, shelved behind the Circulation Desk.
- Databases
- Databases provide access to articles in journals, magazines, and newspapers, electronic
books, company information, statistical resources, definitions, etc.
- GALILEO
- GALILEO is Georgia's virtual library. Through it you can potentially access over 150
databases indexing thousands of periodicals and scholarly journals. Over 7000 journal titles
are provided in full-text. Other resources include an encyclopedia, business directories, a
collection of over 10,000 full-text books and government publications.
- Government
Documents
- Provides access to online government information, tax forms, statistics, census
information, articles, and more.
- Internet
- Provides access to major search engines and directories, such as Google, AltaVista,
Yahoo!, HotBot, Lycos, WebCrawler, as well as dictionaries and other web research tools.
- Journals (How to find)
- How to locate journals, magazines, and newspapers in full text electronic and print
formats.
- News Sources on the Web
- Links to local, national, and international news sources, including newspapers, radio, and
television stations.
- Online Reference Sources
- A list of commonly used reference sources available on the Internet. Includes
almanacs, dictionaries, encyclopedias, calculators, maps, etc.
- Research Guides by Subject
- Guides to resources in a varety of subject areas and disciplines. Use these to help
you identify the most appropriate print and online resources for your research.
- Research Tools
- All the tools you'll need to locate books, articles, journals, and other information
in and through the Library.
