Research Tools
These are the major resources available to help you in your research efforts. In general, you
will use these to find information relevant to a particular topic. Using terms descriptive of
your research topic, search the following for source material.
- Library Catalog - (Find Books and other
materials at Ingram Library)

Ingram Library's Online Catalog is where you go to search for material held within Ingram
Library. Generally, this material will be books, but we also have videos, records,
CD's, etc. You can also search for journal/periodical titles, BUT NOT FOR SPECIFIC JOURNAL
ARTICLES.
- Databases & GALILEO - (Find Articles,
Books, Case Law, and other)

Find Resources by Subject Area. Most will help you find articles, books and other stuff that
relate to your research topic! Other resources provide things like company information,
statistics, word definitions, ...
- Journal Locator - (Locate Electronic and Print Full-Text
Journals)

Use this to help you LOCATE an electronic or print full text journal you have already
decided is relevant to your research. Do NOT use this to IDENTIFY ARTICLES relevant to your
research. USE Ingram Library's Databases TO IDENTIFY

The ILL office borrows (for eligible users) research materials that are not owned by Ingram
Library. The service is restricted to currently enrolled University of West Georgia students,
faculty (both active and emeritus), and staff.

(Search for electronic Journal Titles)

Search a list of electronic journals subscribed to by Ingram Library. Direct links to
full-text journals are provided for each title.
