Password Help: More information about the library password
The Library Resources/GALILEO password changes each semester.
Access is provided only to currently-registered students and current
employees of UWG. To get the current password, access this link:
http://www.westga.edu/~library/password/
Please call our Circulation Desk at (678)839-6502 to check your account if
you receive an error message instead of the password.
Note: this password also provides off-campus access to all our other,
non-GALILEO resources. For a complete list of resources, please visit:
http://www.westga.edu/~library/databases.shtml
If you do not know your UWG ID/917 Number:
- Login to myUWG (the campus Portal)
http://myuwg.westga.edu
- Choose the Banweb tab.
- Students Access "Student Services & Financial Aid"
Faculty Access "Faculty Services"
- Students Check some of the items under either:
"Registration & Fee Payment" or
"Student Records"
Faculty Check under:
"Faculty Detail Schedule"
You should see your 917 UWG ID number displayed here.
For "Page cannot be displayed" errors
Two things to try are:
- clear out the internet files copied by your browser:
Clear the Cache For Internet Explorer:

-Tools/Internet Options/
*Delete Cookies
*Delete Files
-Tools/Internet Options/Settings/
Under "Check for newer versions of stored pages:"
Select "Every visit to the page"
Clear the Cache For Mozilla Firefox:
------------------------------------
-Tools/Clear Private Data
*Select "Cache" and "Authenticated Sessions"
*Click "Clear Private Data Now"
- Try a different browser. Switch between Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or some other browser to see if it makes a difference.
